The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that children get their first orthodontic checkup no later than age seven.
At an early orthodontic appointment, Dr. Tran will assess your child's dental development, utilizing advanced tools to identify concerns, such as jaw and bite development (such as an underbite, overbite, or crossbite) or space issues. Early treatment can adjust and correct development issues and make room for permanent teeth to come in properly, lessening the risk of tooth loss in the future.
Dr. Tran takes a conservative and thoughtful approach, discussing with you whether early intervention is beneficial.
