Things are a little different as we phase back into full operations and implement new processes and procedures in response to COVID-19 and related industry and government guidelines. We’re hoping that you still experience the joy we feel to have you in the office despite having to limit visitors and non-treatment contact, and “suit up” with additional protective equipment.
Important Guidelines for Your Safety and Ours
One adult per child patient will be allowed to accompany a patient in the office.
Patients are asked to bring your own mask or scarf to cover your mouth and nose. The homemade cloth-type mask is acceptable.
Patients are asked to check in at the desk once they arrive. We will take your temperature with a no-touch, forehead thermometer. If you have a temperature over 100 degrees, we will not be able to see you for your appointment. You will be asked to monitor your temperature and we will recommend you see your primary care physician if fever continues.
We will be asking several questions to screen patients for COVID-19 risk factors when you call to schedule your appointment. Please understand this screening is for your own protection and the protection of all our patients and staff.
Patients will receive a mouth rinse to decrease potential pathogens in the mouth.
We will be operating at a decreased schedule in order to reduce the number of patients in the office at any time. While this may delay how quickly we could typically get you in for a visit, it will help give us enough time and space to implement the new safety protocol recommended by the American Dental Association, Ohio Dental Association, and Ohio Department of Health.
Depending on your procedure, you may notice our team wearing more personal protective equipment.
We appreciate your patience as we implement these safety protocols.
Thank you for the trust you have placed in us as your dental home and family. We look forward to seeing you soon and eventually putting all the warm touches back in place that help make your orthodontic experience extra special.
Keeping you safe and healthy, Dr. Tang and Your Team at Shine Ortho Studio
